Executive Officer
Derrik was appointed to the position
of CEO of ACGT Sdn. Bhd. on February 1st, 2008. He is on secondment from
Genting Berhad.
Prior to his appointment, Derrik was the Chief Innovation Officer of
Genting Berhad between August 2006 and January 2008. And before that, he
was Chief Operating Officer of eGENTING, the information communications
technology (ICT) arm of Genting, between May 2002 and August 2006.
Derrik sits on the Genting Group Executive Committee and the Genting
Plantations Berhad Executive Committee. He is a Director of Genting
Genomics Limited, Edith Grove Limited and DNA Electronics Limited (DNAe).
Derrik is also a three-term councillor of the Association of the
Computer and Multimedia Industry of Malaysia (PIKOM), the National ICT
Association of Malaysia.
